Month 6: May 9 → June 5, 2012

Posted by mysticnumbers on May 8, 2012

Mystical Numerology uses a 13-month calendar that begins on December 20 each year. The resulting 13 months are almost uniformly 28-day months. Month 6 begins Wednesday, May 9. It will last through Tuesday, June 5.

This month is about people, communication, finding your place; change and discovery.

The “6” month brings a focus on relationships with people and things, for it is through relationship that we achieve a sense of belonging, and know our place in the world. This is a time to open your heart to receive ancient wisdom, and use this wisdom to provide balance in your relationships and activities. In the process, a clearing of obstacles may take place. It is a good time to make changes in your life, and find or renew a love relationship.

During a “6” month, clearing away obstacles often involves forgiveness. In fact, this is the best time to forgive yourself and others for past mistakes. It is an auspicious time to let go of resentments or guilt, and reconcile with friends, partners, coworkers or acquaintances. Forgiveness is often a key to emotional wellness and inner harmony. In turn, these are connected with physical healing. A “6” month is good for curing illnesses of all types, achieving harmony with the Earth Mother, and finding individual happiness.

During a “6” month, the life-force or kundalini energy is activated. You may feel energized and more confident of standing in your own personal power. Your ability to connect with and influence others is strong at this time. There is an enhanced ability to communicate and share your talents. It is an opportune time to teach, counsel and mentor individuals and groups. It is a good time to pursue personal justice, and defend or be an advocate for people who are less fortunate than yourself.

A “6” month can also be a time of mental stimulation, discovery, and breakthrough. You may feel more capable and more focused. Your intuition is strong and in synch with your instinctual drives. You may feel like each hair on your head is an individual antenna tuned to receiving intuitive insights. This can be a time of awakening during which you give birth to novel ideas and projects.

If you don’t already keep a journal of your ideas and experiences, a “6” month is a good time to start one.

Downside: The highs of the “6” month can be stimulating and happy, but the lows can feel like a roller coaster. The shadow side of this month can be a volatile time of imbalance and polarities. Negative or codependent relationships surface to be dealt with. You can lose focus, feel insecure and indecisive, and start putting things off that really need to get accomplished. This can lead to feeling bad and even to chronic depression. People with addictive personalities may become addicts at this time in an attempt to fill the craving for connection.

Alternately, you can become impatient and cynical, and start taking shortcuts and breaking the rules. You can cut yourself off from others and become a lone wolf. Deep insecurities get covered up with a mask of aggressive and even abusive behavior. You can begin to think only of yourself. Self- aggrandizement and avarice are the next steps on a path to self-destruction and a self-created hell.

If you find yourself headed down this path, the way out is through forgiveness of yourself and others … and by practicing love and gratitude.

11 Universal Month

The Universal Month is calculated by adding the “6” Month to the “5” Year: 6 + 2+0+1+2 = 11. So, this month also takes on aspects of the “11” energy described below.

This month provides an opportunity to receive a higher level of spiritual and psychic energy. This energy comes through in the form of intuitive information and guidance. It can bring innovative new ideas, or prompt you to become a reformer or agent for change, or a teacher. It may push you out of your comfort zone and onto a larger stage.

Downside: There is a challenge inherent in this period. This energy can bring unexpected events. It can also feel like being plugged into an electric socket, at first.  Because of this, it can possibly lead to being overwhelmed by intuitive insights, visions and guidance or by an unexpected shift in the course of one’s life. A sense of psychic, cognitive and emotional overload can result. People may then seek to shut this new energy off through self-destructive and/or compulsive behavior. This can lead to self-indulgence, self-pity or both. In severe cases, individuals shut down, become emotionally numb, passionless and neglectful or, alternately, belligerent and dominating. What is really at the core is an unwillingness to open to a more spiritual level that is seeking expression.

Month 5: April 11 → May 8

Posted by mysticnumbers on April 14, 2012

Mystical Numerology uses a 13-month calendar that begins on December 20 each year. The resulting 13 months are almost uniformly 28-day months. We moved into Month 5 on Wednesday, April 11. It will last through Tuesday, May 8.

This month is about fluidity, energy flow and balance.

Mystical: During a “5” month, Spirit is in the driver’s seat, and you will feel the truth of this. Spirit takes charge, sending visions and insights – often unbidden – and, sometimes, it shakes up your life.

Practical: Fluidity & Energy Flow: As we move into this fifth month, the energy shifts from practicality, decision-making and the urge to accomplish something (March 14 – April 10 period) to a lighter, faster energy that is about fluidity and being in the flow.

The “5” energy wants freedom, change and spontaneity. It doesn’t like limitations or boundaries. The more that you attempt to control things this month, the more it becomes clear that you are not in charge, Spirit is. To stay in balance, you may need to allow yourself to play, and enjoy the artistic, creative, caring, sensual aspects of life. After all, it is spring!

It is a good month for education, learning and/or taking a journey. During this period, the spiritual force in your life can open your heart and infuse you with “knowing,” and the power to conceive and create. If you are receptive to this energy, you can direct it in a good way.

This month is about fluidity and the upside manifests as a dynamic equilibrium of balance and harmony. But, this is also a month when the karmic scales are brought back into balance. Things come back around, including old relationships. Old issues come up for review, processing and release – on both personal and collective levels. And, particularly where energy is blocked, chaos and war can arise – or intensify – to get the energy unstuck and flowing.

Downside: The challenge this month is finding the appropriate balance. You will know if you are out of balance if you feel a lack of focus, find yourself doing too many things at the same time, over-indulging yourself or, conversely, find that you are repressing your artistic and sensual sides. The key this month is to get out of your controlling ego-mind space and into a spirit and heart-centered, allowing space.

Mayan Correspondence: The “5” is “Tzikin,” the “Birds” who are considered the intermediaries with the spirit realm and higher consciousness. The energy of the month is about the flow of abundance and prosperity, and the richness and treasures of the Earth. It is also a good month for friendship and love.

10 Universal Month

The Universal Month is calculated by adding the “5” Month to the “5” Year: 5 + 2+0+1+2 = 10). So, this month also takes on aspects of the “10” energy described below.

“10” is the number of completion and outcomes. It is a month to bring projects to completion and launch new ones.

This month is also about learning to stop, to digest and integrate what life teaches you. So, take some time to reflect on your life in order to gain clarity. You will know when you are out of balance if you are continually pushing to get the next project done, or are staying in action on a never-ending list of things to do.

Mayan Correspondence – Ajpu: This is the month to obtain certainty and security, to plan and achieve goals. It is a month of renewal, to ask for fertility, to feel emotionally secure, and to sharpen the intellect. It is also a time that brings the strength, courage, and energy to overcome obstacles.

Month 4: March 14 → April 10, 2012

Posted by mysticnumbers on March 22, 2012

Mystical Numerology uses a 13-month calendar that begins on December 20 each year. The resulting 13 months are almost uniformly 28-day months. We moved into Month 4 on Wednesday, March 14. It will last through Tuesday, April 10.

This month takes on the energy and qualities of the 4, which is a month of expectation and decision.

Mystical: The “4” represents pure consciousness, the transcendent order, and expanded awareness. It is the number of the spiritual master, the ability of “seeing,” and being able to ascend to a higher level, especially through service and giving to others.

On the Medicine Wheel, it connects the pure potentiality of the God-Source (center) with the mental realm and new beginnings (east). “Mind is the builder”, as Edgar Cayce used to say. Both the manifested world and the body arise out of this connection between the mind and the universal energy field.

Practical: When a “4” month rolls around, it is time to make some decisions, and get down to work and accomplish something tangible.

The “4” energy is commitment, discipline, effort, and practicality. It is the cohesive energy that draws things together to create order and organization out of chaos. The energy of this month is curious and hopeful. It urges us to apply our minds to analyze issues, make decisions, build alliances, and do something tangible in the practical world. It brings capability and the power to be a self-starter and produce results. Indeed, it teaches the lesson of working with the power of expectations in a disciplined way to accomplish desired goals. Sometimes, this involves learning to overcome obstacles as in seeds pushing up through the soil into the sunlight.

The “4” is also the number of “song” and “sing,” and all the songbirds return this month to sing in the new growth of spring. Like things coming into bloom, its energy pushes outward to test conventional limits. By extension, it is the drive to contain what wants to move in too many directions and find the path that keeps everything secure.

“4” also brings the power of healing. It’s a good time to attend to whatever may be out of balance in your body or in your life so you can heal it.

Downside: “4” is the energy of cosmic disenchantment and spiritual crisis. This can manifest in a variety of ways including feeling lost and unloved, and lead to jealousy and possessiveness. It can also bring cynicism, shame, fearfulness and a tendency to be paranoid or just frozen up and unfeeling.

The “4” energy can also engender mule-headedness and a limited viewpoint, including a poverty mentality. It can also foster aggressiveness, and a desire to dominate others though authoritarian power. It is the energy of hotheads, a need to conquer and come out on top. Its energy can spark a good fight between adversaries. The U.S. political process is likely to be a fiery one at least through this month!

A growth area for the “4” is to learn to forgive themselves and others.

Mayan Correspondence: The “4” is called “Ix” (pronounced “Eesh”) which is the Earth, her sacred sites and the guardians of those sacred sites. The totem animal is the Jaguar. It represents intelligence, the strength of Mother Earth, and the creative forces in the universe. It provides innate intuition and curiosity, and the potential to develop higher powers.

This is an auspicious time to pray for getting a beautiful place to live, friends, and to bring your dreams to fruition. This month has a special power to change negative aspects. It is a good month to meditate, reconsider life, formulate a new strategy, and solve problems.

9 Universal Month

The Universal Month is calculated by adding the “4” Month to the “5” Year: 4 + 2+0+1+2 = 9). So, this month also takes on aspects of the “9” energy described below.

Mystical: The “9,” represents the “Mind-of-G_d,” the Web-of-Life, and the drive for wholeness and intelligent order. Much like in the Hebrew Kabalah, “9” is the “Foundation.” It fuses the energy of light, earth, and the heart. It is a psychic number that often enhances intuition and ESP. So, pay attention to your dreams, body-knowing, and flashes of illumination this month. They may bring you a transcendent message that can show you the way forward, and shift your life.

Practical: “9” represents the Foundation of Society – the Caretaker, the Executive, the Law and Lawgiver. It is the number of being fully human. It is compassion, empathic understanding, diplomacy, sensitivity, and gratitude. It is the number of social cooperation, and is connected with selfless service on behalf of others and the community. It is a good month to put some energy into your local community.

“9” is the number of music. Its energy is artistic yet grounded. It brings the ability to dream and believe in your dreams, to build castles in the sky and then build a foundation underneath them. It is the power of positive thinking.

It is the number of management, decision-makers, philanthropists and wealth consciousness. A “9” month can bring good fortune. It’s a good time to attract abundance in your life or business.

The “9” Purpose is tied to the force of Destiny that pulls you along despite your ego-desires. The “9” Purpose is about keeping the circle of life going, being aware that the work you do and the efforts you make will come back around.

The lesson on this path is to open fully in gratitude to receive all that Life wants to give. The further you open to the possibilities, the more Life will give you.

The challenge of the “9” is feeling worthy to receive all that the Creator wants to give. If this is true for you, remember that actively practicing gratitude for what you have will enable you to accept even more. Giving back to others in thanks for what life has given to you is also important. It keeps the circle of receiving and giving complete, and keeps the cycle going.

Downside: The downside of the “9” can manifest as detached and uncaring, selfish and bitter, depressed, grouchy and meek, with an inability or unwillingness to express feelings. Watch out for these tendencies in yourself or others this month.

Alternately, and just as frequently, the “9” can be about feeling driven to accomplish something, and being domineering, or obstinate, or have a tendency to be a perfectionist – especially in your expectations of others. Or, it can be about giving so much in your efforts to care for others that you give yourself away and lose your own identity. These are other shadow aspects that can show themselves this month.

Mayan Correspondence: “9” is called “Kawoq.” It is the house, hearth and family around which everything revolves. By extension, it represents the community. …This is the best month to ask for the common good and the well-being of the family, as well as to settle family disputes or problems of a financial nature. It is also a good time to attract affluence and abundance in business.

Month 2: January 17, 2011 → February 13, 2012

Posted by mysticnumbers on January 16, 2012

Mystical Numerology uses a 13-month calendar that begins on December 20 each year. The resulting 13 months are almost uniformly 28-day months in a non-leap year. We move into Month 2 on Tuesday, January 17. It will last through Monday, February 13.

This month takes on the energy and qualities of the 2, which include: global consciousness, Now – the pivotal moment, relationships & sponsorships, problem-solving, organizing power, personal justice and equality.

Mystical: On the Medicine Wheel, “2” is the number that connects the G_d-Source (center) with physical awareness and the material world (west). It is the energy that defines perceptual reality and is the womb for all potential possibilities. It is the step at which the “self” enters perceptual reality and becomes self-aware but still has access to perfect knowing. It represents the ancient mysteries, mystical experience and connection with global consciousness. It is the pivotal “now” moment that anchors both past and future.

Practical: The “2” is the number of conscious intention, intellectual effort, observation and concentration. It is the masculine energy of the problem-solver, of quiet determination and organizing power, the need to acquire and own things, and have possessions. So, it is a good month to apply your mind, get organized and solve problems.

On a collective level, “2” is the number of equilibrium, collective consent, unselfishness and is the cooperative social glue that holds things together.  It is the realm of human relationships and the desire to create equilibrium, the need to share with others. It is about steadfastness and sponsorship. Expect the issue of relationships to be center stage, and – especially in the political arena – the issue of sponsorships.

The “2” also represents the need to acquire and own things and have possessions. This, in turn, is connected with the need to set boundaries, have security, and the desire for personal justice and equality. Expect justice and equality to be in the spotlight.

Downside: Perceptual reality is woven on the loom of duality. All numbers have both positive and negative/shadow qualities. As much as the positive side of the “2” is about relationship and how our individual lives interpenetrate with others, the shadow side of the “2” is characterized by alienation, rootlessness, loneliness, self-pity and paralysis. The positive side looks like calm concentration, but the flip-side is irrational impulses, rambunctiousness and the mob mentality. It is the number of the adversary, and is represented by friction, invasiveness, social stress, and religious fanaticism.

Together with intolerance, judgmentalism and need for control highlighted below in the “7” Universal Month energy, we can expect a fiery political process in the coming 28-day period. Let’s hope our leaders can keep the lid on things.

Mayan Correspondence: “2” is called “E” (pronounced “Eh”), and represents the spiritual path or sacred way. It is the second step in creation, creative action, where the infinite path of time finds a space in which to manifest. It is the path of destiny, the path that a person walks, and the road of life. “E” is the energy of travel, and of facilitators and bringers of news.

7 Universal Month

The Universal Month is calculated by adding the “2” Month to the “5” Year: 2 + 2+0+1+2 = 7).

Mystical: “7” is the number that connects the mind (east) with the Source (center), and so is like a gateway to universal wisdom and infinite potential, especially since “Mind is the builder,” as Edgar Cayce used to say. In Jewish Mysticism, “7” represents the Shekhinah, or feminine face of God. It is the number of humanity but also of heaven, suggesting that heaven really is within us. It is the number of the mystic, oracle, muse, and messenger.

Practical: The “7” energy gives the urge to find the “truth,” and know how the world really works. It represents the quest for fundamental knowledge and the one who ultimately becomes the expert or authority in their chosen field. By extension, it also represents authority figures.

A quest for knowledge is necessarily linked to a passion for knowing, and frequently with a drive to achieve and the ability to inspire others, and to initiate new projects and ideas. The “7” energy also is the number of the idealist, conscience, and moral awareness. The high side of this is also the need to give which is actually a stronger urge in humanity than the need to dominate or control (scientists have recently proven this).

The point is that in a “7” month passion and idealism will be front and center. The “7” energy can prompt individuals and groups to crusade for their beliefs. So, as one person’s ideals are often in direct conflict with someone else’s (e.g. a woman’s right to an abortion vs. the right-to-life, and so on), this is a period when we can expect fireworks in the political arena – especially since the “7” is also about tolerance, judgment and control. We can expect the flip side to appear: intolerant, judgmental and controlling behaviors and actions.

The “7” energy can also cause people to be overzealous in their work, so take care this month that you don’t overdo it. There is a danger of burnout. The “7” energy can prompt you to be quite linear, logical and precise which is great in some cases. But, it can also lead you to be over-controlling, and forget to allow joy and spontaneity into your life.

The softer side of the “7” month is about the contemplative life, and is a good time to be introspective. Indeed, you may find yourself feeling introverted at times and drawn inwards toward periods of contemplation. If this happens for you, recognize that you are probably preparing for the next growth spurt, like going into the chrysalis waiting to be reborn as a butterfly. It is important to periodically stop, and take time for rest, relaxation, recreation and rejuvenation. In fact, to maintain your balance, you may need space to think and recharge – especially during this period. But remember that sometimes, recharging your personal batteries looks like having an adventure, and being carefree and playful!

The “7” is the number of study and the ability to learn, so it is a good time to improve your mind or seek the out the fundamental truth in things.

Downside:  The shadow side of the “7” comes from a lack of trust in yourself and others, and trust in life itself. It can look like obstacles on your path, energy blockages in your body, a broken heart, feeling inadequate or inferior, being overly fussy or absent-minded and unaware, feeling turned-off or being just plain uncaring. These things can combine in various ways to cause psychic distress and often result in protective behaviors. These can include irritability, feeling envious, losing your temper, being directive and controlling, being divisive, and challenging authority figures and authority, in general. Alternately, it can result in disappointment, apathy, laziness and fatigue.

The cure for the shadow side is learning trust, and lightening up by developing a sense of joy in life. In fact, a very good practice during this period is to start the day by filling yourself as much as possible with joy. Try it. It works!

Mayan Correspondence: “7” is called “Noj.” It represents knowledge and wisdom that comes from the universe and the Earth. It is the energy of telepathy and “knowing” without consciously knowing how you know.

This is a very good period for nourishing the mind, improving the memory, and turning knowledge and experience into wisdom. It is a good time to seek harmony in your relationships. It is also a good period to strengthen your inner knowing. A good practice during Noj periods is to ask yourself questions, and then listen to your inner guidance for answers. You might even do this as part of a journaling process.

Month 1: December 20, 2011 → January 16, 2012

Posted by mysticnumbers on January 13, 2012

Mystical Numerology uses a 13-month calendar that begins on December 20 each year. The resulting 13 months are almost uniformly 28-day months in a non-leap year. We moved into Month 1 on Tuesday, December 20. It will last through Monday, January 16.

This month takes on the energy of the 1: Genesis, birth, the creative principle, potential, the beginnings of things.

Mystical: “1” represents the Creator, the “I AM,” absoluteness, the incomprehensible, zero-point energy, and undifferentiated pre-space. It is the archetypal world that exists beyond both space and time, but out of which the material world is born.

“1” is the supernatural world, out-of-body experiences, psychic energy, clairvoyance, channeling, second sight, gnosis and the ability to know without knowing how you know. This energy is closely linked to having a spiritual drive.

Practical: “1” is the Mother principle, the egg or ovum, the processes of genesis, planting, and birth. It also represents the newborn, sunrise, wonder, and the innocence of being childlike. By extension, the “1” represents the beginnings of things whether they are intangible like new ideas or goals, or tangible things such as newborn children, plants in their seed phase, new projects or ventures. It is the creative principle, the quality or originality, and the power to innovate and invent.

So, this is a good month to establish goals, start new projects, ventures or campaigns. It is a great time to innovate and give roots to new ideas.

“1” also represents the “self,” selfhood and those qualities liked to the self such as positive qualities of self-interest, self-regard and self-reliance. So, work on yourself this month. Remember, we change the world by changing ourselves.

Downside: The shadow side of the “1” energy is “Maya:” the sense-world phenomena that conceals the unity of absolute being – in other words, illusion. On a more practical level, “1”represents cataclysmic events which can totally reshape things and the wretchedness that can result, but also the self-inflicted kind. On a personal level, a “1” month puts strong-willed natures and self-interest center stage (which we are certainly seeing in the political arena).

Mayan Correspondence: In the Kiche Mayan tradition, this energy is called Batz. It is symbolized by the “Thread” that connects past, present and future. Batz is the start of life, infinite time, and unity. This sign symbolizes cosmic phenomena and original wisdom. Batz is the Creator of life and wisdom, and presides over the future.

The energy of Batz is a good time to put things in order or to begin planning a project. It is a good time for marriage, or to bring more harmony into relationship, partnership or business. It is also a good energy to solve family problems. It protects artists and is an auspicious time to say prayers for things to grow and prosper.

6 Universal Month

The Universal Month is calculated by adding the “1” Month to the “5” Year (2012 = 2+0+1+2 = 5).

Mystical:  The mystical meaning of the “6” is the soul drinking light in order to embrace ancient wisdom. The energy of the “6” represents the personal part of you that reaches up with intention to embrace and work with the sacred. It brings heightened perception and a window to the collective consciousness. The “6” is the number of the shaman, prophet, and awakener.

Practical: On a practical level, the “6” is the number of causality and formative power. This translates into personal power, dynamism and making things happen. “6” is the number of discovery, and governs the questions, “How, who, why and why not?” It is the energy of change and favors those people who are originators and awakeners, influencers and trendsetters.

It is also the energy that deals with finding one’s place in the scheme of things.  It is the people, the public, society, and social cohesion. A “6” month enhances the ability to influence people and relate with others, so it is no wonder that the political process is already in top gear going full throttle.

Philosophy, governing principles, laws, reward systems, and ethical principles all fall under the energy of the “6.” So, the current political debate over the underlying principles of the Republican party and capitalism, executive compensation, the ethics of “creative destruction” in business (e.g. venture capitalism vs. vulture capitalism) – all of these are in keeping with the energy of the month.

The “6” represents the sacred marriage of masculine and feminine. It is the number of relationships, emotional wellness, individual happiness, the sense of belonging, and lovemaking. In a “6” month, you are likely to feel more empathic and connected with others, and relationships will be up for review.

Downside:  The “6” represents the often unseen shadow parts of things, the polarities between light and dark, and the imbalances in life and in our systems. It is the number of arrogance and cynicism, insecurity and indecision, self-destruction, procrastination and avoidance. The flip-side is volatile situations, revolutionary change, domination, avarice and dictatorial abuse.

Mayan Correspondence: “6” is called Ajmaq, the Lord of Forgiveness and Reconciliation. It also represents ancient wisdom that comes from the brain in communication with the Spirit Guides.

Any Ajmaq period is about forgiveness – forgiving others for their mistakes, and forgiving yourself for your mistakes. It is a good time to reconcile with others. It is also a good time to cure illnesses, defend the dispossessed, seek justice, and achieve harmony with Mother Earth.

Month 13: November 22 → December 19, 2011

Posted by mysticnumbers on December 2, 2011

Mystical Numerology uses a 13-month calendar that begins on December 20 each year. The resulting 13 months are almost uniformly 28-day months in a non-leap year. We move into Month 13 on Tuesday, November 22. It will last through Monday, December 19.

This month takes on the energy of the “13.” It is a month of endings and beginnings. It is a time to stop, take a breath, say thanks for our blessings, give the gift of love to others, and integrate all that has taken place over the year. In this way, we make ourselves ready for the New Year and the new beginnings it will bring. And, 2012 is likely to bring some powerful new beginnings!

We are living at a time when reality as we have known it is being redefined. Partly, this involves an acceleration of events. We are manifesting our intentions more and more quickly. This can be wonderful! But, it also brings with it a responsibility to be clear and conscious about what we are creating with our thoughts and feelings. If we are in fear and uncertainty, and that is where we are placing our attention, then this is what we are going to create.

So, instead of getting sucked into the vortex of media-fed fears, let us begin each day by filling ourselves with joy and love as completely as we are able to do. Let us change the world by making this be our conscious creation.

Mystical: “13” is the energy of the physical world merging with the spiritual dimension. The sound / chant of this connection is: iii – oh. Whenever you feel out of balance, you can chant or sing iii – oh. It will help.

The “13” is the energy of revelation, divination and prediction. It strengthens the ability to receive intuitive insights and tap into ancient wisdom. It is also the energy of ancestors and guardian angels. It represents the unlimited potential of the pure present, the “now” moment.

Practical: The energy of this month presents you with “choice points,” opportunities for you to choose between possible paths, different worldviews, projects, priorities and goals, and between staying stuck or breaking free. Indeed, it activates inner work that can lead to personal change on the individual level, and complete paradigm shifts at the macro level.

The “13” propels you to put knowledge into use in some practical way to build something lasting in the real world. It is experience, readiness, life, the community, material rewards and wealth. It activates practical business savvy, highlights expertise and fosters goal-oriented actions. It is a good time to tie up loose ends and make a plan for the coming year.

Advisors, catalysts for change, facilitators and joint solutions are in the spotlight.

“13” is also the number of wealth, and wealth-consciousness. So, you may find a few windfalls that add to your holiday cheer!

This is a month of community, and a time for giving something back in gratitude for all the blessings that you have received throughout the year. This month is about the fabric of society, selflessness, grassroots and volunteer efforts, and civil courage.

Downside: The downside of the 13-energy can bring disorder, mistakes, failure and meltdowns. At its worst, it can evoke feelings that life is meaningless and all pursuits are aimless. It can cause people (and countries) to become insular, standoffish, selfish and moody. This side of the “13” tends to experience the glass “half-empty,” and see the scarcity in life. As a reaction to this belief in scarcity and the meaningless of life, the negative “13” energy can promote personal aggrandizement at the expense of others.

Mayan Correspondence: In the Kiche Mayan tradition, this energy is called Aqabal. It is the dusk and the dawn. It is about endings and beginnings, starting new things and letting go of others, breaking through old barriers and limitations and cleaning up what is out of balance. It presents an opportunity for personal and collective rejuvenation and renewal. This 28 day period is an opportunity to leave behind what no longer serves us, and make a new beginning in which we can rise above and transcend whatever is limiting us.

17 Universal Month

The Universal Month is calculated by adding the “13” Month to the “4” Year (2011 = 2+0+1+1 = 4).

Mystical: The “17” connects the physical world with the mental dimensions. The sound / chant of this connection is: iii – ah.

“17” is the power of the material world infusing the mind to become like a superconductor for an expanded sense of physical awareness. It represents the zero-point field, collective memory, and the energy of agape or altruistic love. It is “beingness” … as in, being fully present in the body in this “now” moment. It is the motivating force of “cause” in the physical world, the number of psychokinetic abilities and magic, the energy possessed by illumined adepts who are miracle workers.

Practical: “17” is the number of the Transformer. It is the power of metamorphosis like the caterpillar becoming the butterfly. So, expect transformations to occur this month – on personal and collective levels, including in national and international affairs.

This energy often exposes the deepest truths, so pay attention. Listen to what your body and your heart have to tell you. If there is anything buried or hidden that needs to come to the surface to be processed and released, this is the month when it may occur. … Of course, sometimes this is no fun, especially if your personal identity is challenged.

The energy of the month is about the causal ability that enables you to work miracles. This includes personal healing at all levels. So, it is a great month to get body work done of some sort, such as massage, acupuncture, Reiki, cranial-sacral, energy attunements, Bio-genesis, Rolfing, and so on. The modality of your choice will activate your healing process, and help clear and reorient you for the coming year.

This is an especially powerful period for sitting meditation and quieting the mind as a way of tapping into the “zero-point field” of all knowledge.  However you do it, through physical exertion or meditation, you may find yourself on a quest for understanding.

This is a month that favors artists, artistic ability, beauty, and visual thinking. This is also a good month for public relations, dialogue and promoting togetherness.

Downside: The “17” energy can bring narrowness of thinking and, perhaps, fundamentalism that offers a comfortable structure free of questioning. This is not to be disparaging of fundamentalist thinking. Rather it is an observation that fundamentalism is the polar opposite of a deeply questioning approach to life.

Under the influence of the “17” energy, people can feel misunderstood, and become defensive – even to the point of being rude or lying. During this period, take care not to get caught up in entanglements, because the downside of this month can also lead estrangement in relationships, marital strife, overstepping traditional boundaries in sexuality, and so on.

This month, especially with the holidays, people may feel a need to be ostentatious in order to be accepted or “seen.” It is a time to remember that the most important things in life are free: friendships, trust, confidence, empathy, mercy, love and faith.

Mayan Correspondence: “17” is called “Kej,” the Deer. It has to do with the powers of swiftness and sure-footedness. It is a time for movement, in general, and a great time to move forward in your life. Just take care that you don’t overstep your boundaries and/or trample on the rights of others, or become a bully. This is the best month for seeking harmony with nature, and finding balance with the elements.

Guidance about the coming month: In all that you do this month, act from love. It is a time of renewal for the body, spirit and mind. Be gentle with yourself as you bring one phase of your life to a close with the ending of the year, and prepare for new energies to enter.

Month 12: October 25 → November 21, 2011

Posted by mysticnumbers on October 3, 2011

Mystical Numerology uses a 13-month calendar that begins on December 20 each year. The resulting 13 months are almost uniformly 28-day months in a non-leap year. We move into Month 12 on Tuesday, October 25. It will last through Monday, November 21.

This month takes on the energy of the “12.” I call it the month of Adaptability & Compassion.”

Mystical: The energy of the “12” month connects the spiritual and mental dimensions of life. It brings spiritual intelligence and creative forces into play that open a gateway to Divine Love and an experience of connectedness with the larger whole. This brings the potential for group coherence and peak awareness, and bestows greater receptiveness to visionary experiences.

Practical: At its best, the “12” imbues us with the power of the pathfinder who can see beyond the curtain of the prevailing worldview to new possibilities, potentials and directions. The connection between spirit and mind fuels creative thinking that reaches outside the box to idea-driven solutions, innovation and new inventions. It can be an exhilarating blast of energy!

The “12” energy of the month also activates the highest good that is in the human spirit, and puts service, peacemaking, moral principles, and issues of honesty and social justice center stage. It can lead us to be inspired and to inspire others. It is a good time to take another look at your Life Purpose and see if you are on-track, or decide that course corrections need to be made.

The rarified atmosphere of the visionary energy is balanced by a sense of realism, and desire to make things known and measurable. There is a drive for achievement that comes with the energetic “12” month that can prompt people to be crusaders in support of causes that are important to them. This can be positive but also can be taken to extremes. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in this political year when the campaigns are revving up around the country. Since the “12” is also the number of religion, expect a blurring of the lines between government and religion to continue to be part of the political process.

It is a good month for coordination and strategy, making it an auspicious time for organizations and businesses to plan for the future. It is also a time that favors risk-takers and business acquisitions. The positive energy of this period can bring a cornucopia of plenty. Maybe this will help to give the ailing U.S. and world economies a boost.

This is not a time for shrinking violets. Adaptability and a fearless attitude are warranted. A cultivated spirit of playfulness and carefreeness will also help you ride the wave of exhilarating but potentially explosive energy this month.

Women and women’s rights are in the spotlight. It is a great period to see a therapist or body-worker.

Downside: The numbers who have the biggest positives also seem to have the deepest darkness. The negative pole of the “12” energy brings extremism. It can bring a tendency to be a workaholic and overdo things. It can bring up self-doubt, defeatism and a sense of hopelessness. Alternately, it can heighten tendencies toward egocentric, pretentious, rebellious or moralistic behavior. Be on guard against those people who are “controllers” and have a need to control everything and everyone in their reality. They will very likely have a tough time this month.  Also watch out for increased displays of self-importance, or for resentment and vindictive, hypercritical people. … This is certain to be fodder for the potentially polarizing political debates in the U.S. and around the world.

The real danger of this time is that the “12” energy is explosive and can be potentially dangerous and violent. It is the energy of earthquakes, explosions and shockwaves. It can promote ruthless actions and even atrocities.

Mayan Correspondence: “12” is called “Iq,” the Wind, the Breath of the Creator, and the air that we breathe. It is inspiration, and the principle of vitality that gives life and intuition. “Iq” is also represented by hurricanes and tornadoes. Its energy shakes things up.

16 Universal Month

The Universal Month is calculated by adding the “12” Month to the “4” Year (2011 = 2+0+1+1 = 4).

Mystical: The “16” is the number that connects the energy of the mental and physical realms, the mind and body. The “16” is the energy of the “Master Mind” and is connected with ancestral knowledge, particularly the Grandmothers. It plugs you into the perennial wisdom of the “collective unconscious.”

Practical: The positive side of this energy inclines a person toward discipline and hard work, a grounded wisdom, and an underlying trust in life.

The energy of this month is about matter in service to the higher mind. In other words, by holding an intention in your mind and giving it adequate focus during this period, you can manifest or create what you intend more easily than at other times. Your “mind” connecting with the physical world puts energy into motion in a way that manifests your intention. This process can be used as an ability to cure or heal, draw to you all that you need, and make significant shifts in the physical world.

The “16” is also “logic,” and so gives one a strong logical mind, and the ability to sort things through in an orderly manner. People who are interpreters, synthesizers and/or strategists are favored during this time.

Downside: The “16” can be a difficult energy to handle, especially in combination with the visionary “12.” The “16” puts you in connection with ancient wisdom, and can sometimes feel like overload. It can blow the ego apart. Thus, in traditional Tarot decks, it is called the “BlastedTower.” It can make a person feel emptiness and constricted, uncommunicative or moody. The shadow side of the “16” can be prone to surliness, testiness and thoughtless, unsympathetic, biting remarks, even dirty tricks. Alcohol can be a problem as a way to anesthetize the feelings of emptiness and uselessness.

Mayan Correspondence: This is a time to contact the ancestors, cure potentially fatal illnesses, prevent accidents, ask for protection during travel, and find access to spiritual knowledge. Communication with higher beings is possible throughout this month, as is access to dimensional gates.

Guidance about the coming month: Many will be surprised during this month by an unexpected turn of events that will serve to reorient their lives. We are moving into times when the truth of our connectedness, one to another, must begin to heal the sense of separation that is still the predominant worldview. Events will help us recognize that we, as members of the human species, are all in the same boat. Divisiveness and continued fighting rocks the boat, and we are all in danger of drowning. This month will likely be a wake up call for those who can hear to climb aboard the Ark.

Month 11: September 27 → October 24, 2011

Posted by mysticnumbers on September 21, 2011

Mystical Numerology uses a 13-month calendar that begins on December 20 each year. The resulting 13 months are almost uniformly 28-day months in a non-leap year. We move into Month 11 on Tuesday, September 27. It will last through Monday, October 24.

This month takes on the energy of the “11.” I call it the month of “Manifestation and Outreach.”

Remember also that 2011 is the 11th year of the new century. So, even though it is a “4″ year (2+0+1+1 = 4), it also carries an “11″ energy as a secondary vibration. This will reinforce the power of this 28-day period.

Mystical: The “11” is considered a Master Number. Its energy connects the Center with the Up Above, and is the connection with Universal Love, Cosmic Law, Divine Truth, and Higher Vision. In an “11” month, consider that the center of your being is connected with a supreme consciousness that takes many names in many different religious traditions. In this period, you will find that you are more open to intuitive consciousness. Open your inner eyes and you can more easily be a “seer” this month.

“11” is also the power of sound and manifestation – which are related. When the Christian Bible says, “In beginning was the word …” that is the first sound from which all was created. Pay attention to how you work with sound, song and words to create your reality this month. We are, as the Australian aborigines say, continuallysinging ourselves into existence.

Practical: “11” is the number of the Inspirer, Healer, Connector, Teacher, Reformer and Change Agent. It is inspiration that can be brought to the people. It brings the energy that changes things, often in dramatic ways.

Relationships are in the spotlight this month even more than normal. “11” is the energy to reach out to others and lend a hand; the energy of compassion and giving of yourself to make a difference in the lives of others – including through volunteerism, and charity.

An “11” month can be a difficult energy. You may find yourself taken off-guard and being pulled forward kicking and screaming over a cliff so that you can learn to fly, learn to step fully into your power and be all that you can be. This can also happen on a collective level, particularly since “11” is the energy of collective outcomes, and things coming to critical mass. It is the energy of change being inevitable because the pendulum has swung as far in one direction as it can possibly go.

This is a month when personal freedom for you and individual freedom for others is highlighted. In the long run, this is a good thing since it provides forward acceleration along the path of life. But, it is not a time for timidity.

Interestingly, “11″ is the number of “statehood” which is much in the news – especially with the Arab spring uprisings transforming and shaking things up in the Middle East, most notably in Tunisia, Libya, Egypt and Syria. Now, the Palestinians are petitioning the U.N. for statehood. Expect this to continue in the news this month. Remember, 2011 is also the 11th year of the new century.

Other “11″ energies in the realm of government, politics and the economy include: political power, political leaders, business leaders, domestic affairs, public policy, monetary policy, material advancement vs. financial crisis, republicanism, social responsibility vs. pro-business policies, power plays, human rights, democratization, the United Nations and issues affecting world civilization. Watch for some or all of these to be in the news this month.

The experience of being in an “11” month can be like walking the tightrope or high wire without a net, or kayaking through intense white-water rapids. It can be exhilarating, but it also requires heightened awareness to maintain balance. Things can shift and change in the twinkling of an eye. Indeed, “11” is the energy of sudden, unexpected events that can be totally life-changing. You have to stay flexible. If the Spirit of Life knocks you off your feet this month, it is telling you to open to deeper levels of inner guidance and inspiration and move forward. The alternative is to shut down and turn off. As Charles Dubois once said, “The most important thing is this: To be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become.” So, strap on your seat belt, hang on, and enjoy the ride.

It is the number of “manifestation.” An “11” month can bring greater abundance and prosperity. More generally, it is about manifesting anything in your life. Pay particular attention to the connection between thought patterns, strongly-held intentions, the words you use, and what shows up in your life this month. Pay attention to how this is affecting us on the collective level of the economy, government, international events, and even natural phenomena such as weather patterns, earthquakes and so on.

“11” is the number of “sound” and the musician. As noted above, the aborigines of Australiasay that we are singing ourselves into existence. My wife, Jeanne White Eagle, and I use sound in our daily lives to clear obstacles, do healing, and also to attract and manifest resources. We have many stories about its effectiveness. Try it. The use of spontaneous sound may also help you manifest what you desire. For more information check out this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF70ka0Z5co

This is the month to integrate the use of spontaneous sound into your life or your healing practice.

International Day of the Song: This month, on 11-October-2011 at 11:00AM local time everywhere around the world, small groups of people will be gathering to sing a spontaneous song. The intention is to use a wave of sound circling the planet to raise the vibration and help shift consciousness. You can participate from wherever you are by simply creating a spontaneous song using vowel sounds instead of words in connection with a melody made up in the moment, sung without thinking but invested with the energy of love. For more information, see Jeanne White Eagle’s invitation on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/user/13Saibaba1?feature=mhee . EVERYONE CAN DO IT! Please share this event with your friends.

Downside: All numbers have both positive sides, and negative or shadow sides. With the “11,” the downside can be deep. The “11” energy can make you excitable, impractical, superficial and self-indulgent. It brings a connection with a deeper level of guidance but people are not always conscious of it. What they are receiving on an inner level can create a sense of foreboding or pessimism. Watch out for this.

It can also bring out righteous and elitist behavior, and people acting as if they know more than someone else. These are actually protective behaviors in that both pessimism and righteousness or elitism shut down a part of the personality and insulate it from receiving guidance.

Mayan Correspondence: “11” is called “Imox,” the energy of the Seer andHealer. Imox puts the mind in a receptive mode, increases spiritual strength, and helps to manage the energies of change. It provides the power to understand nature’s messages in order to plan the next steps in one’s life.

15 Universal Month

The Universal Month is calculated by adding the “11” Month to the “4” Year (2011 = 2+0+1+1 = 4).

This “15” month works well with the “11” energy because it highlights psychic abilities, clairvoyance, instinctive knowing. It also strengthens healing ability. This is a good period to find a healer, get that nagging physical issue attended to, or get some bodywork done.

The “15” energy connects the head and heart. So, if your mind and feelings are out of balance – such as thinking one thing and feeling another, or saying things that are out of integrity with how you really are feeling – well, expect a reckoning this month. (That probably goes double for politicians and pundits).

In a similar fashion, your ability to be a good judge and make good choices are enhanced this month.

“15” is the power to work selflessly for the collective good of the people. It is the number of businessmen and women, and of administrators. It tends to bring a pragmatic energy, and emphasize the functionality or practical utility in things, and how to apply something on a practical level. So, it is a period during which events and outcomes will lean toward what is considered traditional – whatever that is, these days.

The “15” nature of the month prompts us to seek out friends who are steadfast, supportive, and optimistic – maybe because we’re going to need them close by.

Downside: The downside can make this a 28-day period that brings fragmentation and displacement, causing apprehension, and exasperation. It can bring economic upheaval … but it is also the energy of turning points. It is a period for cynics, especially since corruption and unscrupulous behaviors will be on stage for everyone to see – even more than is normal. People may get the feeling that things are pointless and just tune out and switch off.

Mayan Correspondence: The “15” is called “Kan,” the serpent, the kundalini energy. It is the energy that gives the power to continue to move forward even in the face of adversity. Kan feeds knowledge, intelligence and strength.

Guidance about the coming month: People who have not yet felt the acceleration in both energy and events will have no doubt that something out of the ordinary is happening by the end of this month. Humanity is being prepared for the global mind shift. An aspect of this is that no longer will it be possible for individuals to sit “on the fence” as idle onlookers. People will have to decide whether to open up to higher and higher levels of energy, guidance and inspiration, or to go into resistance and lock down into fear. People will have to choose to be open-hearted or closed down and shut off. Which will you choose to be?

Month 10: August 30 → September 26, 2011

Posted by mysticnumbers on August 31, 2011

Mystical Numerology uses a 13-month calendar that begins on December 20 each year. The resulting 13 months are almost uniformly 28-day months in a non-leap year. We moved into Month 10 on Tuesday, August 30. It will last through Monday, September 26.

This month takes on the energy of the “10.” I call it the month of Mastery and Outcomes.

Mystical: “10” is the number that connects the spiritual dimension of life with the Source, our center, and deeper soul qualities. 10 is the “Gate-Keeper,” the infinity grid, and the number of prophecy. It is a good month to do spiritual ceremonies that connect you with the G_d Source and your Higher Self, and promote inner awareness. It is the period to move into mastery. That mastery is often used in service to others and a higher purpose.

Edgar Cayce used to say: Spirit is the life, mind is the builder, and the physical is the result. What is meant by this is that the world that we see is manifested out of “spiritual stuff,” infinitesimally small units of consciousness that are shaped by thought energy. Because of this, “10” is the energy of the manifest world, physical matter, and physical manifestation. It is the number of the “master builder” who can work in this way, aligning spirit and thought to manifest his or her desired reality. This is true mastery.

Practical: This month is about outcomes and life changes. Each outcome brings a new beginning. It is a good month to examine the root assumptions that govern your life, seek out a new direction, take aim, and step out onto a new path as a pioneer or reaffirm the one that you are on. New ventures are favored.

This is a good month to ask questions, make conceptual leaps, and find new meaning for your life. “10” is the number of wisdom, questioning, discernment and clarity. Like the ten fingers on the hands, the “10” gives you the ability and desire to “grasp” the deeper meaning of things.

That doesn’t mean sitting in meditation all month and contemplating the mysteries. “10” is the number of the energizer and organizer. Its energy can be decisive, practical and action-oriented. Movement is important during this period. It is a great time to do something to stretch your boundaries. It’s a good period to step out and take a leadership role, or take a growth-provoking risk that forces you to fly. You will be supported by the energy of the month.

This can also be an outgoing, open-hearted month when your empathic abilities are stronger than normal. It is a good time for romance.

This next 28-day period also puts abundance issues in the spotlight. This is the month to ask for abundance. Indeed, by the end of the month, many of you may find that there is a greater flow of abundance in your lives.

Downside: Each energy has a downside or shadow-side that quite often is its polar opposite. Where the positive side of the “10” month is about experiencing abundance, the downside is about poverty that shows up as crisis, breakdown, calamity, struggle and worry. Its energy can cause you to feel inhibited, lacking in ability, and emotionally numb, bogged down and stuck. If this is the case, you may be experiencing a purification and clearing that is making room for something new to come in. This also works on collective, national and international levels.

“10” is also the energy of duality, polarization, acrimony and enmity. Watch out for this in your life this month. And, expect that governments and political parties may continue to polarize their constituents with ideological rhetoric, be at loggerheads and deep in gridlock. This can only go so far before change happens, one way or another.

Mayan Correspondence: “10” is called “Ajpu,” or Grandfather Sun, and is about clarity. Ajpu gives the power to overcome negative energy. It brings material and spiritual certainty. It is transformation, mutation, and acuity. It is the warrior, the companion, the traveler, the dancer, and the artist.

Guidance about the coming month: This is the month to step up and step out: step up into your full power; step out in new directions.

The collective energy will remain challenging. The planetary energy is ramping up to shift energy states in a way that will ultimately promote a dimensional shift for those who are ready – an ascension, if you will. Those who are ready for it will step through the veil and into a new reality.

In this higher energy state and higher-vibrational consciousness, the connection between the power of the mind and its ability to manifest all that is needed will be readily apparent because there will be a more and more immediate manifestation of desires and beliefs. This is one of the primary reasons that those individuals who continue to hold onto the lower energies of negative thought patterns and emotions such as fear, anger, jealousy, resentment and so forth, will not be able to make it through the veil between realities. If they did, all that they fear would manifest in a very immediate and present way. They would find the new, higher energy a nightmare.

We are currently in a time of purification and rebirth for those who are ready to ascend to this higher vibrational existence. Birth is always chaotic, but the new life is precious to behold!

When we cross the boundary into a new world, we take a quantum leap into a higher energy state and a higher vibrational consciousness. In this state we can achieve the hoped-for millennium of peace and prosperity based upon an entirely new structure to society that recognizes how intimately we are interconnected, one with another. The new consciousness will honor diversity, promote equality, and rely on true collaboration and the sharing of skills and ideas. Many of the most pressing issues in the world today will dissolve and dissipate over a fairly brief period of transition.

This is the guidance that I get. Of course, as a wise teacher once said to me, I could be wrong … :-)
