Month 10: August 30 → September 26, 2011

Posted by mysticnumbers on August 31, 2011

Mystical Numerology uses a 13-month calendar that begins on December 20 each year. The resulting 13 months are almost uniformly 28-day months in a non-leap year. We moved into Month 10 on Tuesday, August 30. It will last through Monday, September 26.

This month takes on the energy of the “10.” I call it the month of Mastery and Outcomes.

Mystical: “10” is the number that connects the spiritual dimension of life with the Source, our center, and deeper soul qualities. 10 is the “Gate-Keeper,” the infinity grid, and the number of prophecy. It is a good month to do spiritual ceremonies that connect you with the G_d Source and your Higher Self, and promote inner awareness. It is the period to move into mastery. That mastery is often used in service to others and a higher purpose.

Edgar Cayce used to say: Spirit is the life, mind is the builder, and the physical is the result. What is meant by this is that the world that we see is manifested out of “spiritual stuff,” infinitesimally small units of consciousness that are shaped by thought energy. Because of this, “10” is the energy of the manifest world, physical matter, and physical manifestation. It is the number of the “master builder” who can work in this way, aligning spirit and thought to manifest his or her desired reality. This is true mastery.

Practical: This month is about outcomes and life changes. Each outcome brings a new beginning. It is a good month to examine the root assumptions that govern your life, seek out a new direction, take aim, and step out onto a new path as a pioneer or reaffirm the one that you are on. New ventures are favored.

This is a good month to ask questions, make conceptual leaps, and find new meaning for your life. “10” is the number of wisdom, questioning, discernment and clarity. Like the ten fingers on the hands, the “10” gives you the ability and desire to “grasp” the deeper meaning of things.

That doesn’t mean sitting in meditation all month and contemplating the mysteries. “10” is the number of the energizer and organizer. Its energy can be decisive, practical and action-oriented. Movement is important during this period. It is a great time to do something to stretch your boundaries. It’s a good period to step out and take a leadership role, or take a growth-provoking risk that forces you to fly. You will be supported by the energy of the month.

This can also be an outgoing, open-hearted month when your empathic abilities are stronger than normal. It is a good time for romance.

This next 28-day period also puts abundance issues in the spotlight. This is the month to ask for abundance. Indeed, by the end of the month, many of you may find that there is a greater flow of abundance in your lives.

Downside: Each energy has a downside or shadow-side that quite often is its polar opposite. Where the positive side of the “10” month is about experiencing abundance, the downside is about poverty that shows up as crisis, breakdown, calamity, struggle and worry. Its energy can cause you to feel inhibited, lacking in ability, and emotionally numb, bogged down and stuck. If this is the case, you may be experiencing a purification and clearing that is making room for something new to come in. This also works on collective, national and international levels.

“10” is also the energy of duality, polarization, acrimony and enmity. Watch out for this in your life this month. And, expect that governments and political parties may continue to polarize their constituents with ideological rhetoric, be at loggerheads and deep in gridlock. This can only go so far before change happens, one way or another.

Mayan Correspondence: “10” is called “Ajpu,” or Grandfather Sun, and is about clarity. Ajpu gives the power to overcome negative energy. It brings material and spiritual certainty. It is transformation, mutation, and acuity. It is the warrior, the companion, the traveler, the dancer, and the artist.

Guidance about the coming month: This is the month to step up and step out: step up into your full power; step out in new directions.

The collective energy will remain challenging. The planetary energy is ramping up to shift energy states in a way that will ultimately promote a dimensional shift for those who are ready – an ascension, if you will. Those who are ready for it will step through the veil and into a new reality.

In this higher energy state and higher-vibrational consciousness, the connection between the power of the mind and its ability to manifest all that is needed will be readily apparent because there will be a more and more immediate manifestation of desires and beliefs. This is one of the primary reasons that those individuals who continue to hold onto the lower energies of negative thought patterns and emotions such as fear, anger, jealousy, resentment and so forth, will not be able to make it through the veil between realities. If they did, all that they fear would manifest in a very immediate and present way. They would find the new, higher energy a nightmare.

We are currently in a time of purification and rebirth for those who are ready to ascend to this higher vibrational existence. Birth is always chaotic, but the new life is precious to behold!

When we cross the boundary into a new world, we take a quantum leap into a higher energy state and a higher vibrational consciousness. In this state we can achieve the hoped-for millennium of peace and prosperity based upon an entirely new structure to society that recognizes how intimately we are interconnected, one with another. The new consciousness will honor diversity, promote equality, and rely on true collaboration and the sharing of skills and ideas. Many of the most pressing issues in the world today will dissolve and dissipate over a fairly brief period of transition.

This is the guidance that I get. Of course, as a wise teacher once said to me, I could be wrong … :-)

Month 7: June 6 → July 4, 2011

Posted by mysticnumbers on June 8, 2011

Mystical Numerology uses a 13-month calendar that begins on December 20 each year. The resulting 13 months are almost uniformly 28-day in length in a non-leap year. On this calendar, the seventh month begins on Monday, 6-June and ends Monday, 4-July, and is the only month of the year that has 29 days.

Mystical: “7” is the number on the Medicine Wheel that connects the mind (east) with the Source/Creator (center), and so is like a gateway to universal wisdom and infinite potential. In Jewish Mysticism, “7” represents the Shekhinah, or feminine face of God. It is the number of humanity but also of the mystic and idealist. It gives one the urge to find the “truth,” and know how the world really works. It represents the quest for knowledge.

Practical: The quest for knowledge is made through personal experience. It requires a passion to achieve and become an authority in your chosen field. This also requires developing judgment, analytical thinking skills and control.

This month brings out the tension between the passion that drives you forward toward achievement and the need for the quiet time that brings rejuvenation. Guard against being overzealous in your work this month. There is a danger of irritability, loss of temper and even burnout.

The flip-side of zealousness is powerlessness. The energy of the month can bring up feelings that nothing you can do will make any difference, so why try? What’s the use?

Indeed, with the “7” energy of this month, you may find yourself feeling introverted at times, and drawn inwards toward periods of contemplation and introspection. In fact, to maintain your balance, you may need space to think and recharge.

The lessons for this period are “trust” and “joy.” Events may conspire this month to test your trust in life, trust in others, and trust in yourself. The “7” energy tends to bring out the inner idealist, and people, friends, coworkers and family may all fall short of the ideal. Even you may fall short of your own inner ideal. If you find yourself feeling this way, be aware that it is the energy of the month and will shift in early July.

This month, spend some time creating joy in your life. Take a few moments each day to bring the energy of joy into your body and allow it to fill you up. It is a good morning practice, and can be especially important in this 28-day period.

Mayan Correspondence: “7” is called “Noj.” It represents knowledge, “knowing,” and telepathy. This is a good period for nourishing the mind, improving the memory, and especially to turn knowledge and experience into wisdom.

Universal Month

The 29-day period that is Month 7 is also an “11” Universal Month [7 + 2+0+1+1 = 7 + 4 = 11].

Mystical: The “11” is the connection with Cosmic Law, the Logos. When the Christian Bible says, “In beginning was the word …” that is the first sound from which all was created. This is the “11,” and it is why it is also the number of manifestation. “11” is the number of the Seer, Inspirer and Light-Bearer.

Practical: This is bound to be a high-energy month when unforeseen events happen on both collective and personal levels. It also heightens inner awareness. Inner guidance and wisdom may come unbidden in a flash of insight or in an unexpected vision, or in ways that take you off-guard and then pull you forward, kicking and screaming to take action on what you have received.

“11” is the number of healers, sound, musicians and teachers. It is a good month to see a healer. If you are doing bodywork and healing, it may be important to integrate sound and music into your practice this month. It is also a good month to reach out and connect with others, to cultivate relationships, and to be a teacher for someone.

Particularly during this month, the use of sound may also help you manifest the money and resources you need. The aborigines of Australia say that we are singing ourselves into existence. My wife, Jeanne and I frequently use sound to clear obstacles, do healing, and attract resources.

The “11” can be a difficult energy since it is also the energy of sudden, unexpected events that can be totally life-changing. You have to stay flexible this month. As Charles Dubois once said, “The most important thing is this: To be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become.” If, for some reason, Life knocks you off your feet, it is telling you to open to deeper levels of inner guidance and inspiration and move forward.

Downside: All numbers have both positive sides, and negative or shadow sides. With the “11,” the downside can be deep. The “11” energy connects you with the mass consciousness and opens you up to a deeper level of guidance. This can create a sense of foreboding, pessimism and pointlessness. It can make you feel passionless as if you have no motivation to do anything. Alternately, it can cause you to be excitable, impractical, superficial and self-indulgent. If you are feeling this way, remember it is the energy of the month. It will pass. The challenge is not to become frightened, or to shut down and turn off.

Mayan Correspondence: “11” is called “Imox,” the energy of the Seer and Healer. Imox puts the mind in a receptive mode, increases spiritual strength, and manages the energies of change. It provides the power to understand nature’s messages in order to plan the next steps in your life.

Month 5, 2010 Overview

Posted by mysticnumbers on April 9, 2010

Month 5: April 11 → May 8

Mystical Numerology uses a 13-month calendar that begins on December 20 each year. The resulting 13 months are almost uniformly 28-day months in a non-leap year. On this calendar, the fifth month begins on Sunday, 11-April and ends Saturday, 8-May.

As we move into this fifth month, the energy shifts from practicality, and the urge to drive forward with a sense of urgency to accomplish something – almost with a sense of breathlessness – to a lighter feeling of creativity and caring. The focus shifts from the mind to the heart. During this period, the spiritual force in your life can open your heart and infuse you with “knowing,” and the power to conceive and create. If you are receptive to this energy, you can direct it in a good way.

The “5” energy wants freedom, change and spontaneity. It doesn’t like limitations or boundaries, and can bring chaos. Its energy can be like drinking from a cosmic fire hose. It brings a challenge to focus your intention and awareness to create from inspiration rather than scattering your energy and efforts in too many directions at once. To stay in balance, you may need to allow yourself to play, and enjoy the artistic, creative, sensual aspects of life.

The challenge this month is finding the appropriate balance. You will know if you are out of balance if you feel a lack of focus, find yourself doing too many things at a time, over-indulge yourself or, conversely, find that you are repressing the artistic and sensual sides of yourself.

Mayan Correspondence: The “5” is “Tzikin,” the “Birds” who are considered the intermediaries with the spirit realm and higher consciousness.

Universal Month = 8: The universal month is calculated by adding the reduced number for the year, 2010 (2+0+1+0 = 3), to the number of the month which is “5.” So the universal month = 3+5 = 8.

The “8” is the power that comes from the heart and emotions that brings your ideas into physical manifestation. The “8” is the energy of “love,” the only true power in the universe. So, it may be said, that it is the active power of love that brings the physical world into being, and is the energy through which everything is created! This is a different way of looking at power and the ability to manifest – particularly since traditional Western Numerology identifies the “8” with Material Mastery, and the number most associated with money and success.

There is an important lesson in this new idea of how we manifest things in the physical world, including the prosperity, abundance and money in our lives. The lesson is this: all abundance comes from our heart-connection with God, the Source of all abundance. Abundance comes through the power of love. Fear keeps it at bay. Therefore, to have abundance we must use power in a different way. The “8” is the energy of prayer, faith and also imagination. Creating abundance is less about manipulating and controlling the people, events and things in our lives than it is about imagining what we desire, and then putting the power of faith, love and willpower behind it.

This month, the challenge is to be strong enough to surrender into spontaneity and let go, knowing that our connection with the Creator brings us all good things. This idea of how things are manifested has the power to change our lives, and to change the world!

“8” is love and power. It is active, it is our volition, and urges us to get into action and accomplish something. It strengthens the ability to be a leader, and to show the way for others. It is also represents instinctual knowing, and represents safety and the ability to set appropriate boundaries.

Because the “8” is the number that merges the heart and emotional self with the Divine, it is also a powerfully sensual and sexual number. And coming in month “5,” this could be quite an erotic 28-days!

The downside of this powerful energy can be very deep, like an abyss. It includes despair, heartache and helplessness, and the tendency to be fatalistic about life. It is weakness, idleness, being incapable and feeling invisible. Alternately, it can manifest as bravado and vanity – covers for deeply felt insecurity. It can bring deception and misdirection. It is also the violent energy of a tornado, and of conflict, rebellion and upheaval, the destroyer.

Mayan Correspondence: The Mayans in Guatemala call this energy “Tijax” (pronounced Tee-Haash), the double-edged knife. The reason is that in surrendering, it is often necessary to cut away and let go of that which no longer serves you – so you can step into your full power.

Month 4 Overview

Posted by mysticnumbers on March 26, 2010

Month 4: March 13 → April 10

Mystical Numerology uses a 13-month calendar that begins on December 20, close to the solstice point (winter solstice in the northern hemisphere, summer solstice in the southern hemisphere). The fourth month begins on Sunday, 14-March and ends Saturday, 10-April. So, we’re already two weeks into this fourth month.

The fourth month carries the energy of the “4.” When a “4” month rolls around, it is time to get down to work and accomplish something practical. Maybe you have felt the shift. It certainly has had an effect on the national political level with the long-debated healthcare reform bill being passed.

The “4” represents commitment, discipline, effort, practicality, order and organization. It is also service, the power to ascend by giving to others. The “4” urges us to apply our minds to build something tangible in the practical world. It teaches the lesson of working with the power of expectations in a disciplined way to accomplish desired goals. Sometimes, it involves learning to overcome obstacles as in seeds pushing up through the soil into the sunlight. Its energy helps you to be organized, thorough, composed and direct.

The downside of the “4” stems from feeling unloved. This can manifest as a tendency toward jealousy and/or possessiveness, or cynicism, fearfulness and being either paranoid or just unfeeling. Those of you who are “processing” at an emotional level are feeling this. … The “4” energy can also be bossy, and want to fight in order to dominate others. It can amplify the tendency to get what you want by being cunning or deceit. … Just think of the fight that has taken place in the U.S. over the healthcare reform bill during this fourth month. Whichever side of the issue you are on, you will see this tendency to want to fight and dominate others being played out on the national stage.

Mayan Correspondence: The “4” is “Ix” which is the “Earth Mother,” her sacred sites and the guardians of those sacred sites. The totem animal is the Jaguar. So, there is an aspect of the “4” that is connected with the earth energy and keeping things secure and safe.

Universal Month: Combined with the “3” energy of 2010 (2+0+1+0 = 3), this fourth month also carries aspects of the “7”.

“7” is the number that is like a gateway to universal wisdom. In Jewish Mysticism, “7” represents the Shekhinah, or feminine face of God. It is the number of humanity but also of the mystic and idealist. It activates the urge to find the “truth,” and represents the quest for knowledge, expertise and authority.

Such a quest requires a passion to achieve. It also requires developing judgment and control. The “7” energy can prompt you to be overzealous in your work. So, watch out. Don’t overdo it this month. There is a danger of burnout.

The “7” energy this month also brings out a tendency to judge others a little too harshly and see things as a purist, in black or white terms. This side of the “7” can be quite linear, precise and over-controlling, and have difficulty allowing joy and spontaneity into life.

During a “7” Universal Month, you may find yourself feeling introverted at times, and drawn inwards toward periods of contemplation and introspection. In fact, to maintain your balance, you may need space to think and recharge.

The “7” month brings the two-fold lesson of developing trust and a sense of joy. The trust component includes trust in oneself, trust in others, and trust in life. “7” is the idealist for whom people, friends, coworkers and family may all fall short of the ideal. Even you may fall short of your own inner ideal. This makes trust an issue.

Mayan Correspondence: “7” is called Noj, representing knowledge, knowing and telepathy. It strengthens the energy of exploration, discovery and scientific pursuits that move ahead with flashes of intuitive insight. You may also discover something new about yourself this month.

Vowels: The Principle Energies of Creation

Posted by mysticnumbers on September 6, 2009

The Vowel Sounds in Your Name

John Pehrson - Ireland, 2008One of the major differences between “Mystical Numerology” and traditional western numerology, is that the vowels are not numbered. Rather, the vowels sounds are the fundamental energies of creation. As such, they are the cardinal directions and powers on the Medicine Wheel.

A = East, the mental realm: the place of new beginnings, sunrise, purity, springtime;

E = South, the emotional realm: your “place” in the world, relationships, growth, summer;

I = West, the physical realm: money/abundance, health, reconciliation, autumn;

O = North, the spiritual–intuitive realm: innocence & teachability, ancestors, winter;

Y = Up above and Down below: the connection with other realities/dimensions.

U = Center, the Source: God, Great Spirit, the void, transformation; the power of carrying;

The vowels in your name represent the principal powers that you come into this life with.
